Title: Build Personal Resilience

COURSE PURPOSE:

Resilience can be defined as the capacity to adapt to and recover from sources of stress and adversity. Resilience is often described as one’s ability to “bounce back.” In today’s evolving environment, we will likely experience extraordinary demands on our resilience. In doing so, we’ll discuss possible ways to bounce back in a volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) world. Title: Strategic Planning

COURSE PURPOSE:

On a day-to-day purpose, most high-performing organizations align organizational and individual performance management systems and human capital activities with the organizational strategic plan. Strategic planning is a choice of actions and decisions taken by management that lead to the development of specific strategies to achieve the organization’s goals. Given the nature of strategic planning, all projects are tailored to the agency’s particular needs and can range from assisting agencies, cradle to grave, with the step-by-step process for formulating a strategic plan, to facilitating leadership strategic planning off-sites to developing implementation plans. Through open dialogue and best practices, participants learn how their organization’s strategic plan supports their goals. Practicing hands-on activities will enhance their communication skills. COURSE PURPOSE:

Despite our ability to plan, we constantly face a crisis. Although significant improvements in crisis prevention and strategic management exist, serious predicaments can elude even the best plans. As leaders, we must always be ready and prepared to navigate complex, unanticipated situations. COURSE PURPOSE:

Conflict in any workplace is unavoidable, and you must understand management strategies to resolve disputes and reach agreements quickly and effectively. This course offers personalized approaches and tools to help you face discord with a positive and constructive approach. How others see you is essential.

Before or during the course, you and your colleagues will complete a 360-degree assessment that will be used to help you examine the impact of your behavior during conflict situations in the workplace.
